Dad's cousin Ricky Budnick is in Elmhurst Hospital. He has Cancer that has not responded well to treatment. Dad talked to his sister Joan today and they do not expect him to live until christmass.
Dad and I are going up to see him this afternoon. He is receiving radiation treatments daily and fighting to hang on as long as possible.
On the 4th of July he told us that they had cured some of the cancer they had found in other parts of his body, but the matastized cancer in his brain was not getting smaller. At that time it was just staying the same as I remember the conversation.( please feel free to correct that if you heard different. young ears and memiories or better then old at times)

Sounds like Ricky is really not doing well. Give my love to joan when you see her and tell them all that our thoughts and prayers are with them.

I'm going to try to see him tomorrow night and pray for him tomorrow if the weather permits.
We went and visited with ricky(known as Paul at the hospital) He is very aware and sharp, The CA is mostly effecting his liver and kidneys not brain as I thought.
He may leave the hospital on Fri dec 5th, He is not sure if he will go home or to a hospis site. He said he and Betty were going to make that dission before friday.
